Help Slovak Muslims keep up
Do you remember that video about Slovakia, the country with Muslims but no mosque? There were some shots of a makeshift prayer room administered by the Islamic Foundation. That was us.
Even though Slovakia has no real mosque or its own islamic center, we are trying to cover the needs of Slovak Muslims as good as we can. We have a prayer room open everyday of the week. We hold jummah prayers every Friday and taraweehs in Ramadan.
We speak out
You could see our chairman talking to all sorts of international media about the conditions of slovak Muslims in this european country. Sometimes we even speak out against anti-Muslim statements of our politicians, some of which even blantly say that “Islam has no place in this county“. We disagree.
But we cannot do it on our own. Our local community tries its best, but it’s not large enough to support the Islamic Foundation in Slovakia by itself.

If you want to take part in our effort, join us by supporting this appeal. We calculated that it’s still needed to rise the following ammount to cover our operational expenses for one year.
The ammount from this appeal will pay for:
● 12 montly rents,
● 12 montly bills for electricity,
● 12 montly bills for heating.
